If you have two different players with identical "MyCricket" names that play for the same club then Cricket Statz won't be able to differentiate them (in fact, no one can based on the names alone).
The only real way to fix this is to change MyCricket so that one player has their middle initial included (or something like that) to get a different name to show.
If they are in different clubs then this won't be a problem - you can have the same alias across two players provided they are in different clubs.
Hope that answers your question - if not, please let us know.
Hi Marc - just trying to understand your question/issue here. Can you give us more info? I think you are stating that you have two players in the same club with the same alias name on MyCricket. Correct?
Hi Mark. They have the same first initial and same surname ie B Atkinson, although different first names. It prompts me to have B Atkinson as alias in both cases which won't work. Ideas?
My comments above apply then. If MyCricket shows them both as B Atkinson, playing for the same club, then there is no way to distinguish them as different players. If you, as a human, can't look at them and pick them as being different, then Cricket Statz can't either.
If you can't change them to something else in MyCricket then the only thing I can suggest is to manually change them on the scorecard after you import them.
I will try my best to answer here.
