From @David Anderson
I have been asked to investigate the feasibility of another cricket club using a Cricket Statz database to maintain their club stats.
I have just opened a trial database on their behalf to start the ball rolling.
They don't want to import full scorecards from MyCricket, just their side of the batting & bowling cards.
I have tried to import the 1st match but it wants to bring in the whole scorecard, including all 11 opposition players.
Is there any way of avoiding this?
You can avoid this by just not having it match the opposition players during the import.
Don't have the opposition players in the database and then it will ask you to add them. Just ignore this warning. It will still bring in the fielders and bowlers and score. The player will stay blank.
