Summary: You don't renew early any more - you renew after expiry instead.

The following changes have been made to simplify the expiration and renewal process and avoid potential confusion.

• You will no longer receive any pre-expiration email warnings

• You will be unable to renew in advance of your expiration date

• Subscription options will appear on the purchase page after your database expires

• Expiration reminder emails will be issued on the expiration date and with additional reminders shortly after

• The system will have a grace period to give you time to renew your subscription before reports stop running

• The subscription period will be backdated to start on the expiration date when renewed within 28 days of your expiration date

  
  

The grace period is currently 14 days but is subject to review. This is also the trial period for new databases.

These changes have been made due to the potential confusion introduced when people renewed early but their match count did not reset until their anniversary date. This would often lead to confusion and cause unnecessary aguish.
