I have a question about the how the Partnerships Reports are generated when a better retires not out.
In this report, the 2nd wicket partnership is 121:
https://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/runreport2.aspx?mode=100&match=188972&club=22668
and appears in the Top Partnerships for Each Wicket Report for this opposition:
However, in this match (against the same opposition), the 2nd wicket partnership is 122:
https://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/runreport2.aspx?mode=100&match=188986&club=22668
There are three batters involved as one retires hurt.
This partnership, in my opinion, should be appearing on the report above as the top 2nd wicket partnership against this opposition.
Instead it has been "split" into two partnerships (nos. 2 & 83):
Please advise.
Many Thanks.
Correct. Cricket Statz doesn't do 3-way partnerships. It splits partnerships up based on the two batters that actually batted together and lists them instead.
What you are asking for is to list a single partnership but with the 3 batters shown instead. (And if there were two retired not outs for the same wicket then it would need to list 4 batters, and so on).
Unfortunately, it doesn't have an option to do this. If you find this necessary then please consider raising it as a new suggestion. Although, I must say, Cricket Statz has done it this way for 26 years now and I can't recall it being an issue for anyone.
