I have had on a few occasions an issue when uploading a new innings, I complete everything but when I click save innings I note an error ie batsmen shown twice in FOWs.
I go back and correct this, but then it will not allow me to save innings again, no matter how many times I click on it.
It means and it has happened a number of times now I have to get out of the page and redo the whole innings again.
" it will not allow me to save innings again "
Can you give me more details? Do you get an error page when you save? Do you click save and nothing happens?
Also, there is no error "batsmen shown twice in FOWs". There is an error for having the batsman listed twice in the batting line up - is this the error perhaps?
I have moved this to the questions section since I think I have worked out what you have done.
I can show you how to stop this from happening in the future via a setting in your browser. First, please confirm what browser you are using.
Vic, can you let me know what browser you are using so I can help you?
Hi Vic,
I highly suspect you have managed to get Firefox to block the popup confirm messages from Cricket Statz. You probably got a message saying something like "Do you want to prevent these messages" and you agreed. We need to get these re-enabled.
What is happening is that when you have an error on the page such as the same batsman listed twice, it will pop up a warning asking if you want to continue to save. Hitting OK will save the page. However, if the browser blocks the warning popup then it will never save.
If you wanted to test this - you can purposely put the same player on the batting list twice and then try to hit save. If you don't get the warning popup then you have them disabled on your browser.
Try this: https://superuser.com/questions/832810/javascript-alert-box-unblock-on-mozilla
"Right click on webpage > select View Page Info entry > select Permissions tab > modify Show Notifications or Open Popup Window items to suit. "
In the meantime, we have reduced the number of warnings popups to just one - all warnings are now shown on a single dialog. This should help reduce the chance that firefox will complain to you.
PS - Google Chrome is the best browser in my opinion
