I created a Cricket Statz database for Gippsland Cricket quite a while ago but abandoned it over a year ago as I am no longer associated with that group and could not find anyone to take it on. The last matches added were in 2020. I have just received notification that the database is about to be perminantly deleted and have been invited to download a JSON file of the database before it disappears. Will this file allow the database to be restored if someone decides to have another go at this at some point in the future?

We have a team that has co-captains (not Captain & vice). They almost always are playing in the team at the same time. Not sure how prevelent this is but it would be nice to be able to name two captains in a match in the same manner as is now available for wicketkeepers.

How can I add the scores of a match where all that is known is the basic score, no player stats, eg Maffra 10 for 126 def Collegians 9 for 114.

Do you have a recommended method to record the details of a match which you know was completed but you don't know the result? Only player highlights known but insufficient to determine result. [From newspaper reports]. Also and similarly, could we have a "how out" method of "unknown" - once again historical newspaper reports indicate a player was out and his score but mode of dismissal not mentioned or do you have an acceptable work around?
