After selecting innings overide, the innings figures not allinging as they had prior times. Match report screens show correct, but not in admin mode. The example above, I have not even entered bowling for Eaglehawk, only our club.
Also showing incorrect wickets. Only 2 out here. 2 not out and 2 retired/not out.
Mystery solved. It was the date of the match combined with a bug in the system. Matches before 1985 didnt have wides/noballs includes in bowling figures so there was some code that was adding these on to the bowling run totals for matches played pre-1985. The problem with the override was that the code was still adding the wides and noballs on top of the override. It only occured in older pre-1985 matches and was only a display error.
All fixed now. Thanks for reporting it!
Hi Ian - can you post up a link to the match report for this match so I can work out which match it is. Thanks
And if the 2nd example is from another match then post up a link to it as well so I can get the match ID.
After a bit of detective work, I found your match:
https://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/w.aspx?club=31781&mode=100&match=3054297
When I looked it up, I can see the following data:
The batting and bowling figures are all in sync with the override figures for innings 1 and 2. The admin console pulls this data and displays it. Can you go back into that innings and check? It should be fine.
Can you think of what you may have done to go back to the old match results screen? Maybe hitting the back button after saving perhaps? I will see if I can work out how you managed to do it.
Also, the 4 wickets are only showing for innings 3 since you did the override to 4 wickets. If you either correct the override to 2 or set it back to 0 then it will show correctly as 2.
And a tip - if you are not capturing balls faced then you can turn this off for this division by editing the division and turning off Show Balls Faced on Batting Card:
@Ian Kellett
Thanks Mark. It shows fine on the match report window. I thought it used to round both figures to the overide figure in the admin mode once selected. I had done nothing different as far as I can tell. Quite a few now do it. Seems to have something of putting in non-bowling extras into innings.
