Links Open in New Window

I am embedding the club website within our existing Joomla Website using a wrapper (iFrame).

I was wondering why the recent results links to match summaries (http://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/runreport2.aspx?club=18563&mode=100&match=121245) and player summary (http://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/showplayer.aspx?color=Blue&grade=8138&club=18562&playerid=193267) both open in a new window.

This also happens in the public website (http://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/web.aspx?club=18563&team=). All other links open in current window.

I would prefer to pass a parameter to be able to decide if it opens in current or new window, is this possible?

Be sure to vote on this suggestion if it is something you would like to see implemented

And you can turn off links to player pages from match reports by adding the &nolink=1 parameter

Implemented - all links now open in the same window.

We will work on the ability to add a switch to the URL to control this.

You can now turn on player links to open in a new page by adding a &newpage=1 switch to the URL. A new window is now off by default.
