I have been checking the Player List for duplicates and see each has their own id which is required to merge players. How do you change this number as it is has been updated in the current year.

This is an internal player record ID and cannot be changed. It does not appear anywhere on the public pages.
Can I understand why you are asking to change the player ID?
Just noticed that some were different to my list and thought I would change them as I went through..
Just so I understand - what list is it that you are comparing the IDs with?
As a Premier League we have to put results on the Play Cricket website so the IDs are theirs
