Similar to this I found in a newspaper article (1908) one of my scorecards which had missing catchers. How can I add them or do I need to resubmit the match from my CStatz program. In admin I tried to click on details but got the following message " Error: This match is approved/locked. You cannot update the innings.

Hi Vic - just uncheck the approved box on the match results page and then you can edit the innings. Just remember to re-check it when you are finished editing.
Hi Vic. Can you take me, step by step, what you are doing to get the error message? Start at the match list screen and tell me what you are clicking on.
In Admin, I click on Matches find the game in quetion - click on Results - then Details 1.
That is when I get the message.
Actually I discovered at the bottom of the page a botton it said approved/locked. This I unticked and got to the details however I tried to add a missing catcher but all I got was sub ?
OK Vic, you have managed to successfully get in to the innings.
Now, the next issue is that you have not set up any team lists - this is why you are not seeing any players in the drop-down lists. You should have got a warning when you went into the innings scorecard that the teams were not set up.
Go into teams and then add players to each team. You only need to do this once. This will make populating scorecards a breeze for any new matches you add.
Bit puzzled by this Mark, all the scorecards have players for all the teams as entered from by Laptop CZ File, are you saying all the players for all the teams both for Army and against have to be added again ?
I looked at teams and could not find something that says "Add teams" ? Sorry to be so vague on this.
You don't need to re-enter player records. You just need to assign players to teams. It is pretty quick and easy to do.
When you click on Teams from the main menu, you get the following:
Click on "List" to bring up the player list for that team. You then add your players to the team list. Any player you add will appear in the drop-down for the matches.
Note that you can select multiple players at once and transfer them all over to the team.
The idea is that once you have done this then this team will auto-populate the batting line-up of new matches that you enter. It makes it much easier to enter new matches.
It appears that all of your players are inactive. This is why they are not showing on the Available Players list.
I just went and made one of them active by checking the "active" text box in the player record. You will see that they now appear in the available player list.
Do you know why all of the players have been set inactive? Let's see if we can work it out and then we can work out a way to get them all active.
Actually, for this exercise - you just want to add one player to the scorecard, right? So just go to that player record, click their "Active" check box to be checked. Go back to the Army team list - that player should be shown in the available players. Select them and move them in to the Army team. You should then be able to go back to the scorecard and select the player.
I know this sounds like a lot of work but once it is all up and running it is quite smooth and easy.
It is a good guide that steps you through the process of getting your Cricket Statz database set up.
If you had your database uploaded from our v11 software then start at Step 4 of the guide to establish your team lists. (Update: uploading from v11 now auto-populates team lists)

I tried to change fielder and bowler, but when I clicked on drop down, there were no other player options.
You will also need to add players to your teams so that these players will show in the drop-down lists.

Hi Vic,
Thanks for the screenshot. It helps a lot.

Sorry not very sure wjy they are all inactive, unless they weree shown as inactive when I loaded them to you from my laptop version ?
Will I need every player of eery team for and against to be active ?
