I guess this is a question for the other users. Recently our association has incorporated a lot more T20 games for competition points in our fixture. It's not a separate comp, all goes to the end of season ladder. We play two of them in a day. The association counts them as 0.5 toward the players games played (for qualification purposes to finals and awards).
Issue I am having is that the more T20 we have in the season, the cricketstatz matches played is going to go up significantly. Just wondering how others handle this? Or is there some way of counting games as .5 in CS? Maybe a setting to count match types as only 0.5?
But I don't think CS web version captures the match type of T20 (the software did I think), it appears to only display as 1inns.
Hoping for thoughts before I put in a suggestion.
To answer your original question - maybe try the MVP points system and assign 0.5 points per player per T20 match played. This is all I can think of.
Cricket Statz (online) certainly does include T20 as a match type option.
Hmm, looks like the games uploaded from CS software are, but the games imported direct from MyCricket into CS web haven't. But then again I cannot see the match type on the MyCricket results page so I might have to manually do that. I might need to do so proofing of past results to ensure I have all my T20 games marked correctly.
Is there any way of changing a match type after it's been imported?
I see the T20 option if I go new match but I cannot see the option when I go to the game I want to alter.
Thanks for your help
