Hi my name is Tony King, I am from the Singleton Irwinians Cricket Club which is located in the Peel Region - South of Perth. I have been a long time user of Cricket Statz from its earliest days. I collated and recorded all of Thornlie Cricket Clubs history and sadly I do not think they have followed it up on here. 😿. But when my kids started to play for Singleton, it was time to make the move and not drive 160km round trip for cricket and play local.

My first task was to do as I did at Thornlie and record the history of the club, which was interesting as it was a merged club. I played with Singleton Blues in 2005/06 and in 2014 they merged with Old Irwinians Cricket Club. For some players this was fantastic as they had played with both the Blues and Irwinians, meaning their records would also merge under the Singleton Irwinians Banner...

Since that merge of 2 teams on the edge of extinction, we have become the biggest power of the last 7 years in the Peel Cricket Association, playing in an amazing 21 Grand Finals - Winning 3x A Grade, 1x PPL A Grade T20, 3x B Grade, 2x C Grade, 1x F Grade, 2x U13 & 1x U14 Premierships & R/Up 2x A, 2x PPL T20, 1x B, 2x C, 1x U13's - Yep not a bad decision at all!

To be able to record this history is amazing as the Blues were formed in 1987 and Irwinians (1st year as Coodanup) 1996, So just out of reach of those pre 2002 MyCricket stats.

Thanks Mark and Team - Have not been on much of late but will be shortly.
