Added "Audit Report: Keeper missing" to the admin panel reports section. It will show matches where a keeper is not nominated for each team. It only includes matches that actually commenced (where a run was scored).

Added "Audit Report: Incomplete FOWs" to the admin panel/reports section. It shows matches where the FOW entries are less than the batting dismissal count.

Some changes were made to the main database server to improve report performance. They should be running noticeably faster now.

Automatic fielder selection for keeper dismissals - now implemented. The scorecard will auto-populate the wicket keeper name when a dismissal of stumped or caught behind is selected.

Added the ability to merge teams, in the same way as you merge players, grounds or divisions. You can access it via the Setup menu. Remember - merging is a one-way function and cannot be undone. Triple check your IDs before submitting them so that you don't have to manually correct a mistake.

You may see this when editing a fixture of a match where an innings already exists: This is warning you that you should avoid changing the teams around since there are already players assigned to scorecards. If you have to change the teams then be sure to check you still have the right players on the corresponding scorecards after the change. Cricket Statz will associate players with teams via their inclusion on the batting scorecard. If you set up a match and enter results (or import results) and then later edit the team fixture and change the team then the associated players will be re-assigned to this new team for this given match. Just be aware of this.

In Fixed System Issues
Fixed an Oops display error when merging records. The record merge would be successful but it would result in an error screen at the end of it. All fixed.

You can now import matches from the new PlayCricket (Aus) service. See our guide on how to find the match ID at: https://www.cricketstatz.com/support-forum/questions/how-to-find-the-play-cricket-aus-match-id Post up any issues in a new thread in the Questions section (one thread per issue please) and they will be fixed quickly. Note: there is a small limitation where the PlayCricket (Aus) service only provides the last name and initial of fielders and bowlers on the batting card. If a team has two players with the same last name and first initial then the import will display a warning and have a guess at which bowler/fielder to assign to the dismissal on the batting card. It has a 50% chance of getting it right - so be sure to check your scorecard afterwards and manually adjust if necessary. [I am looking into improving this a little more but it will never be perfect until PlayCricket tags these fielders and bowlers with their unique ID]

Start with the desktop site at https://play.cricket.com.au/ Search for your club using the search option at the top right of the page: Select your club and then you select the Teams tab: Choose the season and the team to bring up the fixture list: Select the match that you want to import and you will land on a scorecard page such as: https://play.cricket.com.au/match/4865f371-3f77-4432-aec4-68c015e516d7/st-bernard-s-oc-coburg-j-g-craig-under-15?tab=scorecard The match ID is in the URL of the scorecard page and will look something like this: 4865f371-3f77-4432-aec4-68c015e516d7

MyCricket has been taken offline by Cricket Australia. It has been replaced with a play.cricket.com.au web site. Matches that were previously shown on MyCricket have been migrated over to this new site. You can find your old matches by doing a search for your club and then clicking on the Teams tab and selecting your season. I am currently working on a match import routine for this new site and it should be available soon.

Import all season fixtures (grade, date, ground, teams, round) for a given team from PlayHQ. Especially useful at the start of a season. Example: https://www.playhq.com/cricket-australia/org/dawson-valley-taipans-cricket-club/82a8dd08/rci-senior-competition-summer-202324/teams/dawson-valley-taipans-reserve-grade/a4bb5203

Added a new "Audit report: Bowlers/fielders listed twice" to the admin panel reports section to show innings where bowlers & fielders are listed twice in the bowling section. Example: https://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/runreport2.aspx?club=14787&mode=170 While you may not see the double-entries on the scorecard, they are there in the background. These have arisen due to a bug in the way blank bowling/fielding entries were handled when an innings containing blank bowlers was manually edited and saved. This bug has recently been fixed but some old innings scorecards might have been affected. These innings will show on this report. The most likely issue faced with this is that players that have taken the first catch of the innings and gone on to bowl will get credited with double the number of catches actually taken for the innings. To correct these, go into that specific innings scorecard. Hit "Save" on the innings and then re-save/lock the match. While you are there you can also rearrange the bowlers using the drag and drop feature (if required).

Added Most Consecutive Matches (Played) for a Team report. Available in the reports section of the admin panel. A specific team must be specified in the filters. It will list the players that have played most consecutive matches for that team. This was a big coding exercise and a long time in the making. Example: https://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/runreport2.aspx?mode=169&club=4530&team=6371(https://www2.cricketstatz.com/ss/runreport2.aspx?mode=169&club=4530&team=6371)

Web colours and settings now update for all clubs in a database - rather than setting it club by club. Try it out by going into settings/web items and then hit save - it will refresh all clubs in your league to use the same colour setting. @Pat Culpan

Introduced a "No Player Alias Check" checkbox when importing from Cricket Archive to ignore alias checking for player names. Most player matching occurs via the CA externalID so alias matching is often unneccessary. This, when checked, increases the speed of match import.

Match imports are no longer searching multiple external IDs for match importing. This has been changed to increase the speed of match importing and reduce the load on the system.
