Correct. Not all reports use the Active Only switch, especially those that report on two players - like this one. Update: I have gone ahead and hidden the Active filter for such reports. Sorry for the confusion. If you need this filter on this report or any other report where it isn't available then post up in the suggestions section and I will look into it.

I get that you have done this to capture the score team score, but it looks like an innings with 9 ducks to the system. The best solution is to use the score override - which was added over a year ago for this exact purpose. See: https://www.cricketstatz.com/support-forum/what-s-new/added-innings-score-manual-override If you go down this path, you can remove these individual scores by setting the batter howout type back to blank and re-saving the innings.

That report, the "Batters by howout", requires a howout type to be selected. If you don't select one, like in this case, it will default to bowled. Please select a howout type first and it will be all good. Update: I have gone ahead and added a message to this report if run without selecting a howout type

Added a secondary Date Played sort to the two *In a Match reports.

Thanks for sharing this and, yes, I noticed it too with some randomly selected matches. I will see if I can put something in the import routine to detect when the FOW is incomplete and automatically apply the "FOW Incomplete" tick to the innings. In the meantime, I would encourage you all to raise a ticket with CA if you find that your historical FOW info has been lost - I imagine they still have access to the old MyCricket data so they should be able to get it fixed.

I have made a few changes. As mentioned, I have added the division/grade ID to the team name when importing a match from PlayCricket (Aus) so that you can use this as an alias to correctly assign teams where you have more than 1 team in your club (which most clubs do). It is particularly useful for when PlayCricket (Aus) displays all of your teams as say "Easts CC" but you have Easts 1sts, Easts 2nd, Easts 3rd in your database. It will allow you to assign a different alias to each team and correctly match them on import, without you having to go and change the teams manually afterwards. If this is useful then I will also add it to PlayHQ imports. I have also gone ahead and removed the recently introduced restriction of editing teams on the fixture entry screen and replaced it with a warning message, I have also implemented a team merge facility as well (you can access this via Setup/Merge Teams). Use this sparingly since it is a one-way function and cannot be undone if you make a mistake. I am going to close this thread since it has gone on for a bit too long but please post up in a new thread if you have any further questions or need help.

@Jacob Schonafinger I have gone ahead and coded up a solution for you to try. I am appending the division/grade ID to the team name when you import from PlayCricket. This will create a unique name for each team in each division. You then assign that name as an alias to the corresponding team. For example: When you import an A-Reserve grade game, you may get a message saying "Cannot find team Rovers United C.C. 22123" (note the new number on the end) You need to go and add Rovers United C.C. 22123 as an alias to your A Reserve XI team. From that point on, all A-Reserve games will match your A Reserve XI team rather than your 1st XI. Give it a go with one of these matches by re-importing them and let me know how it goes. OK I understand your issue now. Thanks for being patient with me. Let me summarise: The problem boils down to the teams being all the same name on PlayCricket - in this case the common team name is Rovers United Bruck C.C. When you import, you have an alias set for the 1st XI to be Rovers United Bruck C.C., so all imports will point to the 1st XI as the team. This forces you to have to change the team after you do the import to correctly list one of your other teams. Does that sound right? Is it the same issue with PlayHQ or is it just a PlayCricket problem? Let me know and I can then work out a solution.

Ok thanks for explaining it. Let's see if it is possible to fix your importing first - it may solve all of your problems. Can you show me a second XI match that is importing as your 1st XI? Is this a PlayHQ match or a PlayCricket match? Send me the link and I will have a look.

Can you let me know WHY you need to change the team? What caused it to be the wrong team in the first place? Is it that you imported them incorrectly? Please let me know and I can then better help with the right solution. For example, in that screenshot - what would you change the 1st XI to? Why did it not pick up the correct team when you imported it? Did you have the alias set up incorrectly perhaps?

Sounds like you are doing the right thing - but I still don't understand why you need to change a team once the innings has been entered (as per your original post)? This is what I am trying to work out.

I am not understanding why then you need to change teams. Can you explain it some more for me with a specific example perhaps? I might be able to suggest a better solution for you.

You can still "tidy up" team names by editing the name of the team via Setup/Teams. I am not quite sure why you are changing teams in the match. Can you help me understand?

Team changes are no longer permitted once an innings scorecard has been entered. The reason for this is that players on the scorecard are associated with the team playing and if you just go and change the team name later then you are effectively assigning the players on the scorecard to a new team - which then causes a whole lot of problems - like what you have recently encountered @Jacob Schonafinger Please let me know why you want to select a different team once you have an innings scorecard entered and I will let you know how best to achieve it
